ASHEVILLE, N.C., Oct. 20, 2016—— In 2014, David Zimmerman, the owner of Ciĕl, a mountain top luxury community in Asheville, NC, contracted Jason Weil, a local architect at Retro + Fit Design to build a home like none other built in the area. The two worked closely together on ideas and design issues to create a masterpiece that now rests on the south facing side of Elk Mountain Scenic Highway overlooking the downtown area and the Blue Ridge Mountains with Mt. Pisgah as a focal point.
Careful attention was taken into all aspects of the design project that resulted in a modern mountain home including three floors of useable space with glass walls. The Privé, is highly functional in design and includes spacious entertaining areas, four bedrooms, an indoor/outdoor main living room, four large terraces, a large open plan kitchen, as well as, a wet bar on the master floor, and a private kitchen on the guest floor.
The home was built on 5.67 acres allowing for privacy and seclusion with access to downtown Asheville in 12-15 minutes.
